Separate three types of cost
The initial build
The agreed structure, layouts, responsive design and features. Confirm the number of pages, languages, revision arrangements and deliverables in writing.
Keeping it online
Domains and hosting have renewal arrangements. Check what is included in year one, what renews later, and who handles SSL and backups.
Future expansion
Extra languages, pages, memberships, payments or automated workflows change the scope. Agree the cost before adding them to an existing project.
What does our HK$5,000 plan include?
HK$5,000 is a one-off build fee for a business website that introduces your company, explains your services and provides enquiry routes. It covers five pages: a homepage and four inner pages, in one language. Responsive desktop and mobile layouts, first-year cloud hosting, SSL, basic SEO setup and basic enquiry/WhatsApp links are included. Domain registration is separate.
Express delivery in 3 working days starts once content, assets and the design direction are confirmed. The actual dates, revision arrangements and deliverables are agreed before work begins. Memberships, search platforms, payments and other custom features require a separate quote.
Compare scope before comparing totals
| Item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Pages and languages | Which five pages? Is another language charged separately? |
| Copy and images | Who supplies copy, translations, photography and approved assets? |
| Enquiries | A WhatsApp link, a message draft, or a form that actually stores and sends submissions? |
| Annual fees | Hosting, domain renewals and any additional licences. |
| Handover and maintenance | Who controls the accounts? How are updates and repairs charged? |
Plan for year two as well
For our current offer, the indicative annual hosting and domain budget after year one is HK$1,000–1,500, depending on the services and domain selected. That budget should not be assumed to cover every content update or new feature. List the first-year total and subsequent annual costs separately, with optional items clearly marked.
Prepare a short brief
- Your business and the customers you want to reach.
- The proposed five pages and the purpose of each.
- Languages required and whether copy, logo and photos are ready.
- Essential functionality and your preferred launch date.
- Your existing domain, website and hosting details, if any.
For example: “We are a Hong Kong consultancy. We need a Chinese homepage, about, services, case studies and contact page. Our logo and copy are ready, and enquiries should come through WhatsApp.” This makes it easier to assess whether the package fits. Check the full pricing and inclusions, then send us your page list.
